Overview

Malocclusion refers to abnormalities in tooth alignment, jaw relationship, and occlusion caused by genetic or environmental factors during a child's growth and development. It presents as crowded teeth, malpositioned teeth, or jaw deformity, which can affect chewing, speech, and facial appearance.

Treatment
