Osteosarcoma

Overview

Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor arising in bone tissue. It grows rapidly and metastasizes early, and can occur in any bone. It most commonly affects people aged 20 to 40, predominantly males.

• Local pain
• Mass
• Night pain
• Limited movement
• Weight loss

Treatment

The main treatment is surgical resection combined with preoperative and postoperative chemotherapy, supplemented by radiotherapy when necessary.

Dietary advice

Strengthen nutritional support, take in plenty of high-protein, high-calorie, easily digestible foods to build strength.
