Overview

Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor arising in bone tissue. It grows rapidly and metastasizes early, and can occur in any bone. It most commonly affects people aged 20 to 40, predominantly males.

Treatment

The main treatment is surgical resection combined with preoperative and postoperative chemotherapy, supplemented by radiotherapy when necessary.
