Halitosis refers to an unpleasant odor from the mouth. Its causes are varied and mostly come from oral problems such as dental caries and periodontal disease, and may also result from tonsil stones or eating strongly flavored foods. Smoking, alcohol, obesity, stress, and digestive problems can also cause bad breath.

Dietary advice
