Lactose intolerance is a food intolerance caused by insufficient lactase in the small intestine, so lactose cannot be broken down. It causes abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, gas, and vomiting after consuming dairy.

Treatment
Reduce lactose intake or use lactose-free dairy products, and take lactase supplements to aid digestion.
Dietary advice
