Cervical spondylosis is a degenerative disorder of the cervical spine featuring ligament thickening, disc degeneration and bone spur formation, which can compress nerves and cause pain or dysfunction.

Treatment
Mainly conservative treatment—posture correction, neck exercises, physiotherapy and symptomatic pain relief; surgery is considered for severe symptoms or nerve compression.
Dietary advice
A balanced diet with adequate calcium and quality protein; avoid prolonged neck flexion and overexertion.
