A slow-growing tumor arising from the meninges surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms depend on location, and many patients have no symptoms; most are benign.

Treatment
Most are benign; treatment is mainly surgical resection, with radiotherapy in some cases. Specialist evaluation is required.
