Kidney cancer is a group of cancers originating in the kidney, the most common being renal cell carcinoma and transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis. Symptoms may include blood in the urine, an abdominal mass, or back pain, and it may spread to the lungs or brain.

Treatment
Treatment is mainly surgical, with partial or radical nephrectomy, while advanced disease is treated with targeted and immunotherapy.
Dietary advice
Light, balanced diet, quit smoking and limit alcohol, and eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits for good nutrition.
