Eye strain, or asthenopia, is an eye condition with nonspecific symptoms such as fatigue, pain around the eyes, blurred vision, headache, and occasional double vision. It often occurs after prolonged use of computers, digital devices, reading, or other extended near-vision activities.

Treatment
Use the eyes sensibly with regular breaks, correct refractive errors, maintain good lighting, and use artificial tears when needed.
Dietary advice
Eat plenty of foods rich in vitamin A and lutein, drink plenty of water, and maintain eye hygiene.
