Pemphigus foliaceus is a chronic, relapsing autoimmune skin disease characterized by intraepidermal blister formation. The blisters easily rupture and crust, with erosion beneath the crusts and leaf-like scaling. It usually occurs in adults and requires long-term follow-up.

- Flaccid bullae
- Easily ruptured with erosion
- Positive Nikolsky sign

Treatment
An autoimmune blistering disease treated mainly with systemic corticosteroids and immunosuppressants, requiring long-term follow-up.
