Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions characterized by central obesity, high blood glucose, hypertension, and dyslipidemia occurring together. Its core mechanism is largely related to insulin resistance, significantly increasing the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.

Treatment
