Overview

A group of epithelial malignancies originating in the endometrium, most commonly adenocarcinoma. It occurs most often after menopause, with abnormal vaginal bleeding as the most common initial symptom.

  • Lower abdominal pain
  • Postmenopausal bleeding
  • Weight loss

Treatment

Treatment is mainly surgical, supplemented by radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or endocrine therapy depending on stage. Specialist evaluation is required.

Maintain a balanced diet, control weight, eat moderate high-quality protein, and consume plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit.
